CadenceFX™ is a financial media service operated by TargetCast Inc., an Ontario corporation (CCPC). We publish automated email alerts reporting USD/CAD exchange rate movements for Canadian subscribers.

2. What We Collect
We collect only your email address when you subscribe to CadenceFX™ alerts. We do not collect your name, phone number, financial account information, or any other personal information unless you provide it voluntarily through our contact form.
If you use our contact form at cadencefx.com, we also receive the name and message you submit. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
3. Why We Collect It
Your email address is collected for one purpose: to deliver CadenceFX™ rate alerts to you. We do not use your email address for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To send you USD/CAD rate movement alerts you have subscribed to receive
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
- To maintain records of your subscription consent as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties except as described in Section 5.
5. Third Parties
We use the following third-party services to operate CadenceFX™:
- Buttondown (email delivery platform) — your email address is stored on Buttondown’s servers to enable email delivery. Buttondown’s privacy policy is available at buttondown.com/privacy.
- Formspree (contact form processing) — inquiries submitted through our contact form are processed by Formspree. Formspree’s privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Cloudflare (infrastructure and DNS) — our website and email routing are operated through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We do not share your information with FX brokers, financial institutions, advertisers, or any other third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to CadenceFX™ alerts. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active subscriber list. Consent records (the fact that you subscribed and when) are retained for three years as required by CASL.
7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing

8. CASL Compliance
CadenceFX™ operates in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). By subscribing, you provide express consent to receive commercial electronic messages from CadenceFX™ at the email address you provide.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.
We retain records of your subscription consent including the date, method, and disclosure provided at the time of signup for a minimum of three years.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. CadenceFX™ infrastructure operates on Cloudflare’s SOC 2 Type II certified platform. Email delivery is handled by Buttondown. We do not store financial account information, passwords, or payment information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
